The Inspired Scriptures

The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. 2 Tim. 3:15, 16; 1 Pet. 2:2

The One True God

God has revealed Himself as One God, the I Am. Deut. 6:4; Ex. 3:14

The Trinity: God is One God, revealed in three equal persons (Trinity): Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Mat. 2:6; 8:16, 17; Acts 15:15-18

The Lord Jesus Christ and His Two Natures

Jesus is the Son of God incarnate. He is the Word made flesh. He is fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, death and burial, His resurrection on the third day, and his ascension into heaven bodily. Jn. 1:1,14; 1 Tim. 2:5; Mat. 1:24,25; 2 Cor. 5:21; Jn. 19; Jn. 20; Acts 1:9

Man, His Fall, and Redemption

Man, by voluntary transgression, fell; and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Gen. 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Rom. 5:12-21

The Salvation of Man

Man is saved by repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ, the evidence being: Inward—the witness of the Holy Spirit, Outward—a life of righteousness and true holiness. Titus 2:11; Gal. 5:22

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is different than and subsequent to salvation (being born again), and is available for all believers as an enduement of power. Acts 1:4, 8

Speaking in Tongues

The initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues. Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46

Entire sanctification is the will of God for all believers. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we can obey the command. “Be holy for I am holy.” Heb. 12:14; 1 Pet. 1:15, 16

The Church

The Church is a living organism, the body of Christ and the dwelling place of God by His Spirit. Every born-again believer is a member of that body. Eph. 1:22, 23; Eph. 2:22; Heb. 12:23

The Ministry and Evangelism

God has called and ordained a ministry for the equipping of the church and the evangelization of the world. Mat. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15-20; Eph. 4:11-13

The Ordinances of the Church

The Lord’s Supper: The Lord’s Supper consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is a symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 Pet. 1:4; a memorial of His suffering and death, 1 Cor. 11:26; and a prophecy of His Second Coming, 1 Cor. 11:26.

Baptism in Water: We believe in baptism according to the scriptures. Mat. 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; ROM 6:4

Divine Healing

Deliverance from sickness is provided for through the suffering of Jesus Christ (atonement), is the privilege of all believers; and can be appropriated by faith. Isa. 53:4,5; Mat. 8:16, 17

The Blessed Hope

The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ, the rapture of believers who are alive and remain, and the translation of the true church. 1 Thes. 4:16, 17; ROM 8:23; Titus 2:13

The Imminent Coming and Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ will come again and reign for one thousand years on the earth. 1 Thes. 5:2; 2 Pet. 3:10; Rev. 20:1-4

The Eternal Judgment

The eternal salvation of the redeemed and the eternal damnation of the lost in the lake of fire together with the devil and his angels. Mk. 16:16; Rev. 21:7,8

The New Heavens and the New Earth

We look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwells righteousness. 2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 21 and 22
